Deborah Denner is an architect with over 15 years’ construction industry experience. She has worked in architectural practice, and also in a number of roles providing design advice to public and private sector clients.
Deborah was a senior design review adviser at the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE). As well as contributing to the work of CABE’s national design review panel, she was responsible for two special panels set up for the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) and Crossrail.
In 2012, with Fortismere Associates, Deborah managed the establishment of a Quality Review Panel for the London Legacy Development Corporation, and she continues to manage the panel’s work.
She has also provided training on masterplanning for local authorities as part of the Climate Change Skills programme in Yorkshire and Humber; provided design evidence at a public inquiry; and provided support for an architectural competition in Norfolk.
In 2014, with consultancy Developing Projects, Deborah managed a feasibility study for a regeneration project in the Somers Town area of the London Borough of Camden. The project includes redevelopment of a primary school, a new community centre, residential accommodation on three sites and landscape design of streets and two public spaces.
